a. Regular Meeting Minutes of June 2, 2026

b. Adoption of Ordinance No. 1999 - Amending Article V of the Municipal Utility Regulations to Require Twice a Week Solid Waste Collection

The Arizona Department of Environmental Quality (ADEQ) reduced the required solid waste collection frequency to no less than once per week effective February 4, 2025. The rule allows local jurisdictions to set higher collection frequency schedules. Amendments to the City's Municipal Utility Regulations are necessary to set the minimum collection frequency at no less than two (2) times per week, and to remove references to Mohave County Environmental Health and ADEQ as the authority requiring twice per week collection. The amended ordinance was brought before the Municipal Utility Commission at their May 28, 2026 meeting; the Commission recommended approval unanimously. Staff recommends approval.

c. Acceptance of Right-of-Way Triangle Dedication at the Northwest Corner of Flying Fortress Parkway and Lamar Road Intersection

Six bids were received from contractors, each bidding on two alternatives. Selection of this alternative allows for construction of the full project length.  Staff recommends approval.
